As an Enforcement and Removal Assistant (OA), you will:
Research detainee history using multiple sources to establish identity/citizenship and manage detained and non-detained dockets;
Provide administrative support to managers, supervisors or staff members by assisting in the day-to-day management of the office's activities;
Summarize and tabulate detainee information from various reports, utilizing a variety of databases and automated systems;
Generate and verify detainer reports, encounters, charging documents, studies, data quality and create and revise spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and presentations; and

You must meet all requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
You must meet one of the following to qualify at the GS-05 grade level:
One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 grade level performing duties such as: performing a variety of recordkeeping, reporting, and informational duties; compiling, maintaining, and updating automated records; and responding to requests for procedural information. OR
Substitution of Education for Experience:
Successful completion of a full four year course of study above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. OR
Combining Education and Experience:
Successful completion of post-high school education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e. beyond the second year) and specialized experience as described in the vacancy announcement, that when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement.
