The Assistant Director of Clinical Services ensures that quality care is delivered in all clinical areas of the Cancer Center. He/She will collaborate with the Medical Director, Operations Director and Medical Oncologists to develop and implement patient care standards and policies that produce and sustain quality care. With the assistance of the Operations Director develops, implements and maintains unit budget. Participates in ongoing nursing quality assurance. Supervises Patient Care Coordinators of Infusion and Cancer Center as well as Springfield Infusion Center. Coordinates staffing for 5300 weekend infusion patients. Serves as mentor to direct reports and provides assistance as needed. Insure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state. Bachelor of Science in Nursing and BCLS certification required. IV certified within six months of employment. Three to five years oncology nursing experience preferred. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
