Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
The Marketing and Communications Specialist provides strategic support to various marketing and communications initiatives, including supporting FullWell and CHN’s internal newsletters and external websites to achieve short- and long-term objectives for the two organizations. The individual will assist with the development and implementation of external and internal messaging, programs and campaigns, and work closely with various work streams to meet their communications needs in a timely fashion. Qualified candidates will have a strong writing background and proven success in building relationships to achieve communications goals. Experience working in highly collaborative environments and start up experience are highly desirable.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, English, communications, public relations or related field required, or a combination of comparable education and experience.
Minimum Experience Requirements
2 years of experience in a role where writing, editing and critical thinking are key elements of the job function.
Experience in internal/employee and ACO marketing and communications preferred as well as background in health care or a nonprofit setting.
Experience with an email marketing automation tool required (EMMA, Constant Contact, Email Open).
Outstanding written, grammar and oral communication skills, with a strong proficiency in AP/journalistic style.
Proven and successful track record of writing for a variety of purposes and audiences, using both print and electronic media.
Must share portfolio of previous writing and marketing samples.
Must be able to juggle multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Statistical analysis skills.
Knowledge of managed care.
Ability to make judgments regarding medical care.
Good organizational skills.
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Multi-tasking, time management and prioritization skills.
Self-starter and highly motivated.
Conceptualize, plan and complete marketing and communication assignments, including publication of multiple external electronic and print publications, in a creative, engaging, timely and accurate manner that clearly incorporate CHN and FullWell brand and key messages.
Support writing and editing of multiple internal network and leadership communications
Manage marketing and communication content on both the FullWell and CHN sites to ensure content is up-to-date, accurate and consistent.
Work collaboratively with the director of marketing and communications to ensure all projects support goals/objectives of FullWell and CHN and implement tactical components of developed communications plans.
Assist in the planning and implement of network member educational and professional events.
Work effectively in partnership with colleagues throughout the two organizations and parent organization and have a strong team orientation.
