The Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel is a country club-like facility in the south Metro Denver area operated by South Suburban Park & Recreation District. The facility consists of; 15 unique, boutique guest suites, the Lone Tree Grill restaurant, event space, pro shop and an 18 hole championship Arnold Palmer-designed golf course.

The Building Porter ensures the first class maintenance and condition of all Hospitality facilities of South Suburban Parks & Recreation District. Performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions for the facility including daily cleaning of the 15 guest suites, event and meeting areas plus the golf locker rooms and restrooms. Restrooms on the golf course and adjacent tennis facility are also included in housekeeping's responsibility. Provides leadership, support and/or direction to part-time housekeeping staff and contracted services as assigned by supervisor. Working closely with the Mechanical Maintenance Division within the District this positon is responsible for coordinating maintenance projects, examples include: hotel guest suite maintenance, painting, plumbing, minor repairs, and woodworking. Follows District and Department Work Order program.

Job Requirements Must be at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior hotel houseman / housekeeping / porter experience required. A combination of experience and education may be considered. HVAC, plumbing, electrical and/or other certifications and/or training preferred.

This position will drive a personal vehicle to various District locations. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver License, or have the ability to obtain upon hire, and maintain an acceptable driving record. Must have reliable and flexible personal transportation.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of chemicals and solutions. Able to provide outstanding customer service and get along with coworkers, patrons, and supervisors. Able to follow oral and written instructions. Bi-lingual ability in English and Spanish, a plus. Must have Customer Service Attitude, must be detail-oriented and work well independently and in a team environment. Knowledgeable of safety requirements surrounding use of commercial chemicals, cleaning equipment, laundry and kitchen equipment. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to drive a golf cart is preferred.

The ability to successfully complete a background check including but not limited to criminal history search is required.

Additional Information Work Hours: This is a part-time position medical eligible position and may work on average up to 35 hours. Must be able to work on weekends, holidays, morning shifts and occasional afternoon shifts. Please note weekly work hours will vary.
