Under the general direction of the Director of Case Management, is responsible for providing Specialized Social Work services to advocate for patients and their families of all age groups upon request of the hospital staff, patient, physician, a relative and/or other concerned persons. The Social Worker is an integral member of the Case Management team.
The Social Worker provides services to inpatients as well as outpatients (ED / SDS) in the hospital setting and the community.
Master's Degree in Social Work.
Ability to work independently, read and analyze patient data, communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Responsible for highly confidential information.
Must have a working knowledge of social work laws, rules and regulations and community agencies.
LIC LSW = Licensed Social Worker in State of NV
CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR.
Two to three (2-3) years of hospital experience as a Social Worker.
