Plans, promotes and implements a well-rounded MTP in accordance with CNIC approved program standards that includes providing tickets for a wide variety of special attractions and activities and making the tickets available to Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs for the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), CNIC and Joint Services (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard and Air Force).
Assists in coordinating activities among various services, MTP personnel, HQ staff, the 180+ Community Recreation Ticket and Travel (Navy)/Information, Ticket and Travel (Marine Corps, Coast Guard & Air Force)/Leisure Travel Services (Army) offices, military and command authority.
Assists in the development, validation and updating of local, regional, or HQ policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), MTP annual operating budget, MTP training manuals, and procedural guides to supplement higher-level guidance.
Selects, interprets, applies, modifies and adapts guidelines to meet the needs of the program.
Works with CNIC MWR Departments (e.g., Information Technology (IT), training, contracting, marketing, accounting) to resolve problems, set up training, check the status of contracts, etc.
Assists in the management and support of the MTP, to include, but not limited to program assessment, service management system, operations guidance, long-range planning, and adequate internal controls to safeguard inventory and monies. Innforms the supervisor of any issues that have far reaching implications, criminal misuse of funds, or anything that could affect the public relations and/or the integrity of the department and command.
Maintains communication and partnerships with DoD, government and civilian agencies, vendors and professional organizations in order to achieve effective management of programs within areas of responsibility, assists with the collection, validation and input of MTP’s Vendor and Base information into a variety of databases, promotes MTP services utilizing outreach opportunities through day to day interactions with installations, their customers and vendors, and provides advice, customer service, technical guidance, supplemental training, and responses to programmatic issues with installation staff, program directors, DoD staff, vendors and Service counterparts.
Reviews and drafts replies, correspondence and announcements to installations pertaining to operational or policy matters in areas of primary responsibility to include correspondence to installation point of contacts (POCs), higher levels within the DoD, other government agencies, civilian entities, regional commands and installation commanding officers.
Provides operations support through after-action reports, data collection and database administration utilizing a variety of computer software which tracks patrons’ usage and responses (includes providing information for metrics and patron counts), tracks, verifies, manages, orders and restocks tickets, barcodes, promotional material, supplies and merchandise, completes inspections upon their arrival, and ensures the accuracy of daily distribution to and returns from participating installations, as well as receiving/returning of vendor inventory, month-end documentation for proper accountability of program liabilities and resources.
Assists in administering traditional trainings to installations on a variety of MTP subject areas (e.g., How to Create E-tickets, Managing your Users, Ordering & Returning Tickets, Balancing your MTP Account), assists in updating electronic and multi-media support tools, and develops working partnerships with both on base and off base organizations (e.g., service vendors, hotels, hospitality industry) to support and benefit the MTP.
Adheres to NAVMED P-5010 sanitation requirements.
Initiates and follows up on maintenance trouble calls to get equipment/facility issues resolved.
Drives to different locations in the commuting area to deliver or pick-up tickets, paperwork or promotional items.
