This is a centrally managed position.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the 692d Intelligence, Surveillance, and
Reconnaissance Group (692 ISRG) Director of Security to protect the Group and
four subordinate squadrons, the 8th Intelligence Squadron (8 IS), the 324th IS,
the 392d IS, and the 792d Intelligence Support Squadron (792 ISS), with
elements geographically dispersed in eight separate facilities on the island of

objectives through proactive application of security principles, policies, and

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position is in the excepted service authorized by Title 10 U.S.C and
covered by the Defense Civilian Intelligence Management System (DCIPS). The
employee must also sign a Statement of Understanding prior to occupying a DCIPS
Position is designated critical-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain
and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive
Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a
Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program.
Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug
use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission
of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
Critical Sensitive/Top Secret clearance: This is a drug
testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for
drug use IAW AFI 90-508, Attachment 2, Category II, Type 5: Personnel having
access to truly sensitive information, i.e., national security material.
This is a key position. Incumbent must be removed from any military
recall status if alternatives are not available for filling this position
during an emergency.
The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft
to perform temporary duty assignments.
Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC),
Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC) and Security
Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) conferrals are required
within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to
this position in accordance with DOD 3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and
Certification. The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or
modified without the written approval of the AF Security Functional Authority
(SAF/AA) or their delegated security career field representative.
