You help our residents resolve issues, engage prospects who are interested in renting a home, and enter tickets and applications in the property management system. As a Customer Service Representative, a typical day might include the following:

You start your day by helping to post invoices in the property management system. As you are doing this, several residents walk into the office with their rent payments. You greet each of them warmly and even remember most of them by name; you recognize them from when you assisted with their leasing paperwork. You accept the payments, forward them on to the Property Administrator for processing, and complete the posting of invoices.

You then receive a phone call—it’s a lead! They are interested in looking at homes to rent. You walk them through the leasing process and ask them questions to better understand their needs. Based on this, you schedule an appointment for them to meet a leasing consultant at a home the following day.

There are several move-outs happening this month, so you follow up with the Property Administrator to make sure things are still on track. You call the Sheriff to schedule any needed evictions.

You end the day by checking on the latest Home Owner Association violations with the team at corporate. There are three new ones. You call the residents to inform them of the violations and how to resolve them. You make a note to check in a couple days to ensure they are settled.

Must haves:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of administrative experience in Property Management and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of maintenance/construction terms and pricing
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe
  • Previous experience using property management software

Nice to haves:

  • Spanish speaking skills
