We propagate hundreds of different types of plants, most of which are very difficult to propagate using traditional methods. Millions of plants are produced in our facility year-round. The Hood Technician is a member of the Production Department that acts as the “engine” of our company. Using a sterile scalpel and tweezers, Hood Technicians are skilled in the art of cutting thousands of plant micro cuttings throughout the day while performing their work inside a sterile workspace. Though they are a part of a team, Hood Technicians are evaluated on their own individual performance throughout the year. This position requires a high degree of focus and self-motivation as well as the ability to incorporate feedback they receive constructively. The Hood Technician embodies core values such as professionalism, drive, responsibility, integrity, and an unshakable work ethic.

Your Work Experience/Qualification Includes :
High School Diploma / GED
Fluent English speaking and writing skills
Ability to sit for long periods of time, up to 7 hours per day
Strong basic math skills, able to keep track of and count quantities of a product easily
Job Status : Seasonal - 40 hours per week
Must be available to work Monday – Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
If hired, training will begin on November 1st, 2017
Starting Pay - $10.40 - reviewed upon completion of two-month training period.
