In this role, the qualified candidate will be part of a team of Property Management professional at a mid-rise luxury building in the U Street Corridor. S/he will handle resident concerns at the front desk of a luxury residential boutique building. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, possess leadership capabilities, and have exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet, greet and direct residents & guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Serve as the company/property ambassador and provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Manage administrative requests from residents, i.e. maintenance requests and lockouts
  • Verify and record visitor, contractor and vendor information
  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing laundry, shipments and or mail/packages
  • Alert residents to arriving guests, vendors and deliveries
  • Answer calls professionally and assist callers with directions or instructions for the building
  • Maintain logbooks for visitors, contractors, keys, elevators, incident reports, and daily activities
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, guests, managers and colleagues
  • Train newly hired associates in company procedures and policies
  • Respond to customer and employee issues at the front desk and forward issues to the Resident Manger or Community Director if unable to resolves
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Hospitality/concierge experience, or strong face-to-face customer service experience within a professional services setting
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills as this job requires frequent interactions/communications with residents, guests and property managers/Owners
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to anticipate, identify, address and prevent problems appropriately, as well as address conflict in a calm and professional manner
  • Excellent decision making skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
