Who You’ll Be Working With:
Evolent Health is looking for an Associate Director, Platform Solutions, to be a key member of the Partner Delivery team. This role will report to the Managing Director, Platform Solutions.

This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health’s mission by serving as a platform subject matter expert within the larger Partner Delivery team to support Evolent’s partners during implementation and ongoing operations work. As an expert on Evolent’s platform and solution offerings, this role will serve as a bridge between the clinical functions and technology to ensure the optimal business solutions are implemented for Evolent’s partners. This role will work closely with members of the Product Development team on product functionality and new release features in order to serve as the platform expert for implementation efforts. In addition, this role will collaborate with the Clinical Delivery team during implementations and other key clinical team members, both client and Evolent, in assessing the current state clinical programs and processes to define the platform requirements and solutions for our partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Platform Expertise
Develop and maintain expertise in more than one Evolent solution, including, but not limited to, the implementation of Care Management, Utilization Management, Practice, Network, Patient, EMR Integration and/or Risk Adjustment services
Maintain Identifi product-certification for at least 2 modules and/or Evolent solution offerings to serve as an expert for client interactions
Deliver effective, articulate demonstrations of the Identifi platform during implementation efforts to client executives, in-line managers and end-users
Partner with the Product Managers on the IT Product Development team to actively participate in sprint reviews and release cycles to understand product design decisions and functionality at a detailed level
Provide client testimonies to the IT Product Development team that enables them to incorporate client feedback into the product development lifecycle planning efforts
Partner with other solution-based groups within Evolent to develop deep functional and operational knowledge of the delivery of Identifi solutions
For new product functionality releases, collaborate with the Product Development and Partner Delivery client team members to develop a deployment strategy

Collaborate with the client team members of the Partner Delivery team to deliver the configuration of the Identifi platform and solutions that meets the client’s business objectives
Lead client working sessions to document the future state process definitions and platform requirements
Conduct platform demonstrations during the process and requirements definitions phase to ensure client’s understanding and approval of the operational processes and platform configurations for their solution
Partner with the Clinical Delivery team by leveraging their clinical expertise during future state process definitions and platform requirements working sessions with clinicians and physicians on the client team
Serve as the platform, solution and process expert to jointly deliver quality clinical workflows and platform requirements with the Clinical Delivery team and to Evolent’s partners
Develop a deep understanding of our partners’ business and operations in order to drive the delivery of Identifi requirements and workflow definitions through facilitated working sessions with client team members
Conduct client-sign off meetings to review workflows and platform requirements prior to the configuration of the Identifi platform
Deliver and educate internal Evolent IT and Training teams on the workflows and platforms requirements to facilitate downstream implementation activities
Create clear, process flows detailing the intersection of operational activities with the use of the Identifi platform to support the client’s population health business objectives
Document detailed platform requirements based upon best practices
Develop client-specific scripts to deliver impactful, educational product demonstrations to client team members during the entire lifecycle of the implementation leading up to User Acceptance Test phase
Provide input to development of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Identify and escalate risks and issues to leadership when they are encountered and aid in successful mitigation, where possible
Maintain delivery responsibilities for new Identifi platforms and solutions following the initial implementation for a client by collaborating with the rest of Partner Delivery team to support ongoing client operations
Establish and nurture strong relationships within Evolent’s operational areas
Collaborate with leads in Product Development and Partner Delivery to develop a training curriculum and ongoing education on Evolent solutions across Partner Delivery
Contribute to internal initiatives focused on achieving the goals for the Platform Solutions team that align with the Partner Delivery team’s, IT department’s and Evolent’s annual goals

The Experience You Need (Required):
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 6 years of health care information technology experience
Expert understanding of people, process and technology related to transformation efforts
Expert knowledge of defining and documenting business requirements
Advanced understanding of systems and process integration in the healthcare industry
Proven track record facilitating client working sessions to achieve an outcome
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse parties and stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong team orientation, both internal and external, with the ability to coach and mentor regardless of reporting relationships

Finishing Touches (Preferred):
Previous health care experience, preferably in one of more of the following areas: provider systems, health plans, payer contracting and/or ACOs/ CINs
Experience as a problem-solving project manager, business analyst and/or process analyst
Strong ability to understand and identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies
Demonstrate creative problem solving skills, adapting approach as needed for each engagement
Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize simultaneously
Absolute integrity and strong, hands-on work ethic
Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, including Visio
