Job Summary: The Automotive Marketing Director is responsible for all marketing initiatives regarding our dealerships. A deep understanding of the automotive industry as it pertains to marketing and behaviors of auto buyers and internet shoppers is required. Duties will include overseeing all marketing projects that involve both internal employees and outside vendors, with the primary goal of creating and increasing measurable and increased profits directly attributable to marketing efforts. Marketing initiatives will cover any and all forms of marketing, including digital and traditional outlets. Minimum of 3 years experience and solid understanding specifically in automotive marketing is required.Core Responsibilities:

  • Creation, Implementation, Management & Reporting of all Marketing Efforts, built to maximize profits & attain positive results
  • Digital - Responsible for both internal & external websites, Social Media efforts, Email Marketing, Online Reputation, Online Paid Advertising, All Online content & video, Statistic & Reporting
  • Traditional - Responsible for all forms of Print, Radio and TV & Video
  • Vendors - Responsible to work with all Vendors to oversee all marketing efforts including, Website, Social, SEO, PPC, Audio & Video Production, Print and more

  • Oversee all Social Media efforts, including posts, advertising & leads, reviews, etc
  • Monitor Factory websites for car specials, incentives, rebates & overall marketing cohesiveness
  • Management of all Dealerships CRM vendor & Systems Integrations


  • Manage & Oversee All Printed Advertising Campaigns
  • Manage & Oversee All Radio Advertising Campaigns
  • Manage & Oversee All TV & Video Advertising Campaigns


  • Responsible for overseeing the production & approval of all graphic design & creatives for websites, social, email & print
  • Responsible for overseeing SEO vendors, driving results and dissecting & verifying their reporting and statistics
  • Responsible for overseeing PPC & Paid Placement vendors, driving results and dissecting & verifying their reporting and statistics
  • Responsible for overseeing Audio & Video production vendors, including feedback & approvals
  • Monitor and drive project deliverables and enforce timelines
  • Attend monthly review calls for on SEO & PPC services
  • Maintain awareness of vendors contractual obligations
  • Research & vet new or better vendors as needed


  • Create, Manage & Track Monthly Advertising Budgets for Individual Dealerships, Making Adjustments as Necessary
  • Ensure that Fixed Ops budgets are completed & submitted monthly by the GM for approval by COO
  • Stay on top of automotive marketing trends, new platform technology and opportunities for improved marketing ROI
  • Maintain a general awareness of competitors & relevant marketing strategies & positions


  • Clear & Concise Monthly Reporting Summary on ALL digital & traditional marketing efforts for each dealership to COO & marketing team
  • Work with GM's and GSM's to get accurate reports on sales funnels, conversions & which channels are producing positive results
  • General reports on any and all statistics, KPI's, analytics, conversions, ROI's and other other metric as needed
