The Department of Global Health has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Coordinator . The Research Coordinator will work as part of the Collaborative HIV Impact on MCH Evaluation (CHIME) team on Centers for Disease Control (CDC) funded projects evaluating lifelong antiretroviral therapy (ART) and early infant HIV testing in prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV and effectiveness of pediatric ART in Kenya. These projects will include facility and community-based surveys designed to identify gaps in services and improve uptake of ART, viral load suppression, and retention in care and outcomes among pregnant women, HIV-exposed infants, and HIV-infected children. The position will work under the supervision of Dr. Christine McGrath, Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington. The Research Coordinator will additionally support the Saliva Testing and Video Information to Expand Uptake of Pediatric HIV Testing (STEP-UP) project, which evaluates two novel technologies to increase the uptake of pediatric HIV testing through provider initiated testing and counseling (PITC) – oral mucosal testing (OMT) and video-based pre-test information. The position will work under the supervision of Dr. Anjuli Wagner, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and Dr. Jennifer Slyker, Assistant Professor, in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington.
