Description

Perform laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses. Closely follows standard procedures in laboratory testing, evaluating various routine assay, and in performing tasks related to stability studies, sterility testing, investigating product complaints, and evaluating new and existing product. Assists in operating manufacturing equipment and systems in a lab environment along with purification product-related operations. Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications are met. Assist in the assembly or sub-assembly of life science products and devices. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Responsibilities:
Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.

Operates purification equipment for manufacturing purposes according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Assists with experiments to develop scaled-up purification processes.

Evaluates purification process methods and makes recommendation when necessary; Review LCMS data and returns samples with impurities greater than 5% for re-purification; Evaluates samples and determines if lyophilization is required.

Performs routine maintenance on purification equipment and systems (i.e., chromatographic, micro-filtration, and ultra-filtration).

Provides technical support for production operations.

Assists with the calibration, trouble shooting, and validation of lab and purification equipment.

Independently reads specifications and procedures. Requires knowledge of the processes involved in documenting experiments.

Maintains laboratory notebook, testing records, or worksheets according to established laboratory and manufacturing procedures.

Experience & Skills:
Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkups

Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests

Knowledge in the use of Bodhan and Lyophilizer equipment preferred

Strong communication skills

Excellent Customer Service Skills; display a professional can-do attitude

Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality

Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures

Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently

Must be able to lift up to 25lbs minimum

Qualifications:
